Because we live in an ever-shrinking world, the need to connect beyond our cultural differences or “Culture Bumps” is critical, and the culture bump approach has been used to train people in connecting in their communities, in international joint ventures, in language training as well as for individual cultural coaching.

Dr. Archer is author of Living with Strangers in the USA: Communicating Beyond Culture as well as The Culture Bump Toolkit For Culture and Communication. The Toolkit is based on theory and methodology that evolved from over 30 years of research and participation in interpersonal cross-culture communication.
