The CNPC International Financial Training Class graduates on May 22, 2015 after a rigorous program that began with four weeks of language and cultural training in December of 2014. Their program was sponsored by the University of Houston’s Asian American Studies Center Global Leadership Program directed by Dr. Yali Zou.

While the Culture Bump Approach underpinned this initial aspect of their work, a great deal of culture specific information was included in their program. This included an overview of the Texas history, holiday celebrations, and field trips. After the language and culture portion, they studied the latest information technology in international finance.
